However, this is only to the seats, and the top requires the player to go to the Cooler Box on the northern side of the table, and hit the handle of it with an Insect Hammer or Black Ox Hammer. When the bomb explodes, the shovel will fall onto the table, allowing a way up. To reach it, the player needs to go to the Leaning Shovel landmark with one Bratburst or Splatburst, and throw it on the rock keeping the shovel up. The Picnic Table is fairly hard to reach, being only accessible via one way. There is a zipline anchor that connects to The Sandbox which the player needs 12 Silk Rope to build. On the side of the table is also a large honeypot meaning multiple swarms of Bees commonly will be around the eastern side of the table, but will get mad if approached. Along with this, the maze can be navigated on the table, even having some Chewed Gum and a chest that requires a key to open. The plates in this area will sometimes have food remains on them, in the form of the bits of large foods and sometimes Salt Shards.
The top of the area holds multiple plates and a maze for the fictional tabletop game Minotaurs & Myrmidon. On the seats of the table are some food holders and a cooler that can have juice boxes that will still leak Juice Drops.
The area is one of the more difficult areas to navigate in Grounded, requiring very hard or difficult ways to navigate it. The biome itself is fairly small, only encompassing the seats and top of the actual picnic table. The Picnic Table is a smaller biome located in the western portion of the Backyard and requires multiple very specific ways of reaching the top of it.
